2. Bad Religion - "Them and Us" - This is just a great punk rock song.

3. Tribe Called Quest - "Can I Kick It?" - They don't make em like they use to.

4. Pharcyde - "Passin' me by" - Reminds me of being a teenager.

1. Queens of the Stone Age - "Song for the Dead" - Great technical song that reminds me of bands like Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and Rush... bands that made me want to play music.

2. Sloan - "Underwhelmed" - Canada's grunge contribution.

3. Van Morrison - "Into the Mystic" - This song brings me back to meeting the love of my life.

4. Violent Femmes - "Please Do Not Go" - Listen to the bass solol!!!

1. Soundgarden - "Slaves & Bulldozers" - This is one of my favorite vocal performances by Chris Cornell showcasing his insanely high range.

2. Mudhoney - "Sweet Young Thing Ain't Sweet No More" - This song defines the true sound of grunge to me, Mark Arm draws from Iggy Pop over fuzzed-out bass, sliding guitars and hypnotic drums.

3. Band of Skulls - "I Know What I Am" - Instantly recognizable and so damn catchy i can't get it out of my head.

4. The Rolling Stones - "Can't You hear me Knocking" - Starts with just an awesome Keith Richards riff, so unorthodox and full of attitude. I just learned it!

1. Brand New - "You won't know" - Just a great song...one of the best sing/screams I've heard in a long time

2. Cancer Bats - "Smiling Politely" - cause I sing on it and the song kicks ass!

3. Nirvana - "You know You're right" - last song they released after Kurt died and reminds you yet again why they were one of the best bands of all time

4. Bob Marley and The Wailers - "Mellow Mood" - not one of his most popular songs but i love it...no matter what kind of day I'm having it always makes me feel better
